Letter to parents: School Games Day on Wednesday 28th June 2017

Dear Parents/Carers,

School Games Day – Wednesday 28^th June 2017

I am pleased to inform you that we are holding our School Games Day on Wednesday 28^th June. It will involve a variety of sporting and non-sporting activities including cricket, catering and journalism. Students are competing for the Intra House Cup and at the end of the day it will be awarded to the House with the most points achieved throughout the day. Your son/daughter belongs to a House team and will opt to be part of at least two events during the day, for this team, which he/she will find out beforehand.

Students will need to come to school in their PE kit and a t-shirt of their house colour:

Hargreaves: Red Bronte: Green

Turing: Blue Sanger: Yellow

Timetable:

09:10 – 11:10 Cricket, Rounders, Tug-o-War, Ultimate frizbee

11:30 – 13:30 Track & Field Athletics

14:10 – 15:10 Final performances, relay and presentations

09:00 – 13.30 Non sporting events

We hope this is going to be an enjoyable and valuable day. However, in the event of bad weather we will have to cancel and normal lessons will resume. If you would like to attend this event, please complete the reply slip below and return to Student Services by Monday 26^th June. On the day, please sign in at reception and collect a visitor’s badge.
