Astro Pitch Update

Repairs to our pitch were scheduled for this week but unfortunately the cold weather has made the work impossible. We have re-scheduled repairs for the first week back in January, and we very much hope to reopen the pitch shortly afterwards.

We are continuing to be in contact with community clubs about their bookings for 2023 and we are really looking forward to being able to make the pitch available for our students and community users in the very near future.

We are also excited to confirm that we are speaking to the Football Foundation about the prospect of a replacement pitch. Groundwork investigations are currently taking place to ascertain our site’s viability, and a full report is expected in late Spring 2023.
